- One of these options is cladding with exterior panelling, which can be made with durable materials, heat-treated wood or resinous. This allows additional protection for the container and gives a touch of beauty and style. The interior finish can be made with melamine chipboard in different shades, chosen by the customer.
- Improved ceiling insulation is also an excellent option, providing additional protection and maintaining the temperature inside the container. One of the most recommended materials for ceiling insulation is mineral wool, which is fire resistant and offers the best insulation.
- Also, improving the insulation of the floor can be one of the available options. This is achieved by using high quality materials, such as mineral wool. Thus, the temperature inside the container is kept and the outside noise is reduced considerably.
- In addition, you can opt to replace the 40 mm external panels with 60 mm, 80 mm or even 100 mm panels. This option will provide additional thermal protection to the container house. The shades used on the exterior panels can be chosen by customers, offering a unique style note.
- The floor finish can be customized by choosing the shade of the parquet or the standard PVC carpet. This provides a modern design and adds value to your container home.

It has comfort, finishes and functionalities equivalent to those of a regular house: insulated walls, fully equipped bathroom, PVC joinery and finishes that you choose according to your preferences.

No. FDC container homes are not adapted shipping containers. They are built from scratch, in the factory, either according to standard models or to your specifications. The structure, insulation and finishes are designed specifically for living.
FDC container homes start at 2.930 euros + VAT for the A01 model and can go up to 39.900 euros + VAT for the D01 two-story house model. The price depends on the model, the level of insulation and the finishes and options chosen.

No. The prices shown do not include transportation and assembly, which are offered together as one complete service. The exact cost depends on the distance from the factory to your location, therefore it is determined by location.
The offer is divided into 4 categories: models A (monoblock container houses), models B (monoblock, with bathroom), models C (modular houses with bathroom) and models D (multi-storey, modular container houses).
Models A and B consist of a single container, while models C and D are modular. C modules can only be connected horizontally, while D modules can be connected both horizontally and vertically.
Production takes 6-8 weeks, and delivery depends on the distance. The actual assembly takes between a few hours (monoblock models A and B) and up to 2 days (modular models C and multi-storey houses D).
Basically, you can live in the house in a few months, significantly faster than in the case of a classic construction.
Yes, FDC container houses are designed for year-round living. The standard insulation includes walls made of sandwich panels with 40 mm PIR foam and mineral wool in the ceiling and floor. For increased thermal comfort, there is a premium insulation option, with 60, 80 or 100 mm PIR panels and double-layer mineral wool in the ceiling and floor.
The containers have a lifespan of over 20 years. The structure is made of cold-formed galvanized sheet metal, primed and electrostatically painted for increased resistance. With correct placement on concrete slabs or pillars and periodic maintenance, the lifespan can be considerably extended.
No foundation is required, but it is mandatory to place them on concrete slabs or pillars, 10-15 cm from the ground, for ventilation and to prevent moisture. Due to the weight of approximately 2 tons, the containers do not require additional fastenings.
Placing a container may require permits, and requirements vary by location. We recommend that you check directly with your local city hall.
FDC container houses are not delivered furnished. The only area that is fully equipped and ready to use upon delivery is the bathroom. The house has a kitchen area, which you furnish and use after assembly, according to your preferences.
Yes. You can choose a standard model or a configuration according to your specifications: compartmentalization, interior and exterior finishes, insulation level and various options. All customization requirements are established during the quotation phase, before production begins.
Yes. Unlike a traditional home, a FDC container home can be moved if your circumstances change — a flexibility that traditional construction doesn't offer.
