Frequently Asked Questions – Houses with bathroom (series B and C)
There are houses that include a fully equipped bathroom and are ready to use upon delivery. The range includes two typologies: monoblock models, made from a single container (series B), and modular models, made up of several containers joined together (series C). Both offer the comfort of a complete home, the difference being the surface area and the possibility of expansion.
The monoblock models with bathroom have between 18 and 30 sq m (B01–B06, from one room with bathroom to two-room models with hall or kitchen area included). The modular models with bathroom have between 28,8 and 54 sq m (C01–C05, from one room with bathroom to three rooms with bathroom). Thus, you can choose from a compact home to a spacious one, suitable for a family.
Prices start from 6.860 euros + VAT for the most compact monobloc model (B01) and go up to 17.680 euros + VAT for the largest modular model (C05). The price depends on the typology, surface, configuration, insulation and finishes, and transport and assembly are calculated separately, depending on the distance.
The monoblock models (series B) are made up of a single container, ready to be configured. The modular models (series C) are made up of several containers that connect together, offering more generous space and allowing horizontal expansion. Both include a fully equipped bathroom.
Yes. The bathroom is the only area that is fully equipped and ready to use upon delivery. The bathroom floor is made of PVC carpet. There is no tile or ceramic tiling in any area of the house.
Some models also have a kitchen area in the configuration. This does not come equipped — you furnish it and use it yourself after assembly. If you want specific preparations (electrical and plumbing routes, supports for suspended furniture), you communicate them during the bidding phase.
The monoblock models (series B) are designed as a single container and are not expandable by cutting out the walls. The modular models (series C) allow horizontal expansion with additional containers. In both cases, any expansion must be prepared from the tendering phase, because the walls are sandwich panels with PIR foam and are not cut out after production for reasons of tightness and thermal performance.
Yes. With a fully equipped bathroom and proper insulation, the houses with bathroom can be used as a permanent home, a holiday home or accommodation space. For year-round living we recommend premium insulation and multi-chamber PVC joinery.
The walls are made of sandwich panels with PIR foam (40 mm standard, 60/80/100 mm for the premium version), and the ceiling and floor are insulated with mineral wool (100 mm in the ceiling and floor for the standard version and in a double layer for the premium version). Heating is exclusively electric, through convectors, dual-function air conditioning or underfloor heating, installed from the factory.
On the outside, you can opt for cladding with thermotreated paneling in the shades of White, Platinum Grey, Anthracite Grey, Oak, Light Walnut (Teak), Dark Walnut or Cherry, as well as for sandwich panels with wood imitation or wood ribbing. On the inside, the standard finish is white corrugated sheet (RAL 9002), with options for smooth finish, cladding with melamine chipboard in various colors or wood ribbing. The floor is made of parquet or PVC carpet.
Production takes 6-8 weeks. The assembly of a monoblock model usually takes a few hours, and of a modular model up to 1-2 days (positioning, bonding, sealing and masking of joints). In the end, the house arrives finished and ready to go.
FDC Containers can connect to utilities at the time of installation, if the external installations are already ready at your location. We do not take care of the connections to the container or obtaining permits. If the installations are not ready, you can connect later.
